THE REGISTRATION PROCESS
1. Application Submission
Submission of application to Competent Authority (CA) of the home office. (Annex A, Annex B & Required Document:
(a) Certificate of Graduation or any recognized qualification in surveying by the CA of the Home Country;
(b) Certificate to Registration and/or Professional Identification Card issued by the CA of the Home Country; and
(c) Other requirements that may be required by the CA of the Home Country and/or the ACACS)
2. Endorsement
Application endorsed by the CA of the home office:
The CA of the Home Country shall undertake an assessment of any ARS application to ensure that the applicant complies with the documentary and other requirements as stipulated in this Assessment Statement. The assessment process may differ among AMS, following the domestic procedures of each CA.
The result of the assessment process by CA of the Home Country will be informed to ARS applicants. A successful ARS applicant shall receive a letter of endorsement from the CA of the Home Country for further review by ACACS.
3. Review
The application will be submitted to the ACACS Secretariat via email at aseansurveyor@gmail.com by the CA of the home country after being endorsed by the same authority. The application shall include:
(a) Declaration for ARS Application (ANNEX A);
(b) Application for ARS Registration Form (ANNEX B);
(c) Required Document;
(d) Summary of Assessment of ARS Application (ANNEX C); and
(e) Letter of Endorsement from the CA of the Home Country

5. Confirmation
Successful ARS applications receive an approval by ACACS
The result of the review process by ACACS will be informed to respective ARS applicants. A successful ARS applicant shall receive an approval by ACACS to be registered as an ARS and be included in the ARS Register.
If an ARS application is unsuccessful because of administrative matter, the ARS applicant shall resubmit the corrected application to the ACACS Secretariat for re-review at the subsequent ACACS meeting.
If an ARS application is unsuccessful because of substantive matter, the ARS applicant shall resubmit the revised application to the CA of Home Country for re-assessment.
6. Registering
Documentation process:
ACACS Secretariat shall issue certificates for all successful ARS applicants that have received the approval from ACACS.
ACACS Secretariat shall maintain the ARS Register for records and transmit the record copy of successful ARS applicants to the relevant CA of his/her origin.
